“Let us love silence till the world is made to die in our hearts. Let us always remember death, and in this thought draw near to God in our heart — and the pleasures of this world will have our scorn.”

-St. Isaac the Syrian

    1. When we are silent (exterior and interior), we recall our own sins and failings and it is only by accusing ourselves that we find peace. When our souls are filled with noise, we will spend our time focused on the sins of others and this path will lead us to the hellfire.

      Oremus pro invicem, my friend.
